Orlando Bloom: Hot Up-and-Comer

This flowery character has walked right out of drama school and into a major role in one of the biggest movies of all time. He stars as the elf, Legolas, the great archer of The Fellowship, in the first installment of the Lord of the Rings films, The Fellowship of the Ring, out now.
Even though his character hails from Mirkwood, Rhovanian, in the West of Middle Earth, the real Orlando Bloom was born in Canterbury, Kent, England, on the 13th of January, 1977, making him 24 years of age (unfortunately, slightly too old for me).
At the age of 16, Orlando moved to London and joined the National Youth Theatre for two seasons before landing a scholarship for training at the British American Drama Academy. His official screen debut was in the movie Wilde, where after he put his career on hold so that he could train further at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, in the meantime performing in such greats as Mephisto, Twelfth Night and Antigone.
But enough of the technical stuff, right? In case you haven't seen him yet (poor you!), Orlando stands at a comfortable 5'11", topping that off with brown eyes and shaved brown hair, extended and bleached for his role in The Fellowship. He and co-star Liv Tyler also had to wear special contact lenses to make their eyes extra-ordinarily blue, elf-style, but also lessening their ability to see quite drastically.
To end it off… what every girl wants to know: how to snag him! Well, you would have to be up for some extreme activities such as skydiving, snowboarding, skiing, bungee jumping and paragliding, as these are his favorite hobbies; being a beach bum wouldn't hurt, as he loves to surf, and you should not be afraid of a camera lens, as he is an avid photographer (never mind the press attention!) Looking like Liv Tyler would also not be a bad addition to the package.
But whether you snag him or not, you can always just admire him, and I have the feeling there'll be plenty to admire in future. Keep a look out for this one- he's bound to be hot property and a real mover and shaker in years to come.
